Hello! My name really is Nathaniel, and I study (and work in) aerospace engineering. I joined DreamWidth in the aftermath of PurpleScare2k18 because the rationalists decided this would be the best emergency backup Tumblr, but I'm genuinely interested in the notion of social journaling. I missed the LiveJournal and Web 1.0 era. So far, it's been an interesting experiment.

My username stems from a particular interest I had when I joined Tumblr, and I have no desire to break a million links by changing it.
