Ad Astra Per Aspera

Buildings should be aligned with the cardinal directions or, failing that, at least facing flush to the street. I suppose there can be exceptions, but generally speaking, those are the rules.

I realized a few weeks ago that this house isn't aligned north-south, even though we live on a north-south street.
